South of England Athletics Officials Association
The South of England Athletics Officials' Association exists to provide assistance and guidance to Technical Officials involved in running athletics meetings in the South of England and ad hoc training and support. With a General Committee, Discipline sub-committees and Regional Representatives we are also able to put the views of our members to the national bodies.
Membership is biennial, and this includes free attendance at two annual conferences with AGM, UKA Rule Book (published biennially), the quarterly newsletter “Communique” and a copy of the IAAF Rule Book (also published biennially) at a discounted cost.
The Members area of this website allows access to various downloads and Communique Archive. Plus information on the Association’s Committee, AGM, Conference, Disciplines, Constitution and Newsletter back numbers.
The inaugaural meeting of the Southern Counties Officials Association, as it was originally called, was on Sunday 25th February 1990. Brian Hart and Gerry Weston, with the support of the Southern Counties Athletic Association (now SEAA), were the prime movers in arranging this meeting.
